A Woman who seeks Death

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), with the support of international experts, is training specialized demining teams that have begun the process of clearing landmines and unexploded ordnance from thousands of hectares of land in the Azerbaijani-reclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh region. Demining in difficult terrain and weather conditions requires endurance, composure, and patience. Special attention is given to both physical and mental well-being. Among the demining units, those composed entirely of women stand out. This film will their story.
